The role of sodium phosphate anhydrous industrial grade in metal treatment is
mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Cleaning agent
Oil degreasing: Sodium phosphate has a strong alkaline, can effectively remove metal surface grease and dirt,
often used in metal pretreatment.
2. Rust inhibitor
Anti-rust treatment: trisodium phosphate can form a protective film on the metal surface to
prevent oxidation and corrosion, suitable for short-term anti-rust.
3. Phosphating agent
Phosphating treatment: In the phosphating solution, trisodium phosphate, as one of the components,
helps to generate phosphating film on the metal surface, enhancing corrosion resistance and coating adhesion.
4. Neutralizer
Neutralize acidic substances: Sodium phosphate is used to
neutralize acidic residues on metal surfaces and prevent corrosion.
5. Corrosion inhibitors
Corrosion suppression: In water treatment, trisodium phosphate acts as a corrosion inhibitor to
reduce the corrosion of metal equipment in the circulating water system.
6. Dispersant
Disperse dirt: During the cleaning process,
trisodium phosphate also disperses dirt and prevents it from being redeposited on the metal surface.
