Production Line
Riel Chemical Co., Ltd. uses advanced production processes, such as the following example to manufacture high quality sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP). The process mainly includes phosphoric acid neutralization, drying, polycondensation and finished product packaging, the specific process is as follows
1. Preparation and neutralization of raw materials
The main raw materials for producing sodium tripolyphosphate are phosphoric acid and soda ash. Depending on customer requirements, we can use the hot phosphoric acid process or the wet process
Thermal phosphoric acid process: phosphoric acid
Phosphoric acid and soda ash are neutralized under controlled conditions to form sodium orthophosphate solution. The pH value and raw material ratio during the neutralization process are strictly controlled to ensure the stability of the subsequent polymerization stage.
2. Spray dry
The neutralized orthophosphate solution was dried in a spray drying tower to form an anhydrous sodium phosphate powder. The heat source temperature of the drying tower is controlled at 600-700℃, and most of the dried powder is collected from the bottom of the tower, and a small part of the powder is recovered through the cyclone separator to ensure the material
3. Calcination and condensation
The dried sodium phosphate powder is burned in a high temperature rotary furnace at a temperature of 350-450 ° C and a proper residence time is maintained. In this process, sodium phosphate is demineralized and polycondensed to form sodium tripolyphosphate. In order to control the crystal form and quality of the product, a small amount of catalyst such as ammonium nitrate (NH₄NO₃) can be added during the sulfuric acid sintering process to accelerate the reaction and obtain a more stable STPP-Ⅱ crystal form.
4. Quality control
At every stage of production, we carry out rigorous quality control tests to ensure that sodium tripolyphosphate products meet high standards of purity, solubility and chemical stability. The products are fully tested before leaving the factory to meet the application needs of various fields such as food, industrial and water customer handling.
