Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) is available in both industrial grade (96%) and food grade (85%) with CAS number 7758-29-4.

Performance Characteristics
- White granular or powder with density of 0.35-0.90G/CM3 and melting point of 622°C
- Easily soluble in water with alkaline aqueous solution (1% solution PH 9.7)
- Gradually hydrolyzes into phosphite in water with excellent metal complexation ability
- Forms soluble complexes with calcium, magnesium, and iron ions to soften hard water
- Functions as an inorganic surfactant with properties similar to organic surfactants
