2. Level the surface: As a leveling agent, it can fill in the tiny depressions on the workpiece surface, making the coating more uniform and smooth.
3. Stabilize the electrolyte solution: In chemical plating, it prevents the electrolyte solution from rapidly decomposing, extending its service life.
4. Mask impurities: Combined with the trace metal impurities in the electroplating solution, it reduces their interference with the coating.
5. Assist in complexation: It combines with metal ions to help control the electroplating deposition process.
6. Remove the coating: Used to prepare the etching solution, it removes the undesirable coating.
